Perennial Embrace
Inspired by the sculptural language of Barbara Hepworth, the celestial simplicity of David Harber, and the reflective grace of Allison Armour, Perennial Embrace explores the dialogue between negative space and timeless form. The central void invites the eye inward, framing shifting views of the garden beyond and creating an interplay of light, shadow, and landscape that changes moment to moment.
Forged in steel, its circular silhouette - seemingly ancient, yet unmistakably modern - evokes the universal symbol of the circle: eternity, unity, return.
The proportions are deliberate - soft but monumental, precise but organic. Whether viewed head-on as a portal or encountered obliquely as a subtle curve emerging from foliage, Perennial Embrace offers serenity and grounding, a resting place for the gaze.
This piece sits comfortably in both formal and informal settings - anchoring a long vista, punctuating a courtyard, or offering quiet rhythm in a meadow. Wherever it is placed, Perennial Embrace invites contemplation: a gentle pause in a restless world.
